I am a real fan of going to the cinema, especially to Metropolis in Antwerp, where they have 24 seperate screens, all equiped with SDDS and THX. The largest theater can hold up to 800 persons. There are also a lot of restaurants, and a bar, which makes the place terific spot for a full night out.

With some guys from work, we try to go to the movies on a regular basis, usualy once every other week. On this age, I intend to give some information on the movie, and ho I oiked it. I am aware of the fact that there are already professionals giving their opinion, so some people may say this is superfluous, well to hell with that :o). I do this, since most of the critics seem to write with the wrong intention. They want to tell about the quality of the script, the acting, the special fx, camera shots and whatever. I don't care about that. I care about entertainment value: do I feel good after I leave a movie. This is the reason why I never saw - and probably never will see - "Titanic", "Saving Private Ryan" or "Schindler's List". They may be very good, but I want to be entertained. If I want drama, I'll watch CNN. I'd rather see Wesley Snipes kick the living daylights - ehh nightlights ;o) - out of some vampires than see Tom Hanks trying to safe a soldier he's never seen out of a war nobody wanted. Call me a barbarian if you like.
